Who you are

3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer in a well-known B2B SaaS company or high-growth SaaS startup
Proven ability to design complex, desktop-first B2B web applications end-to-end — from problem framing to interaction design and handoff, ideally demonstrated in your portfolio
Strong product thinking: Ability to find pragmatic “80/20” solutions that balance user value, technical constraints, and business goals
Expert-level Figma skills and experience collaborating with other designers in shared workspaces, including component libraries and design systems
Self-driven, outcome-oriented, able to work independently while communicating trade-offs and constraints clearly
Native German speaker with fluent English

Desirable

Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (like Claude code, cursor etc) to build realistic, functional prototypes
Foundational understanding of HTML/CSS to ship smaller improvements to the product or website yourself
UX copywriting experience

What the job involves

Take full ownership of the end-to-end product design process, working on clearly defined problems in close collaboration with the Product Team — from ideation and prototype testing to ready-to-ship visual designs
Collaborate with our existing Product Designer to evolve our design language and ensure a cohesive experience across both sides of the platform
Work hand-in-hand with our product and engineering teams, identifying high-impact UX opportunities and delivering solutions that are technically feasible and ship fast
Translate concepts into high-fidelity designs, adhering to and maintaining our scalable design system in Figma
Craft clear, engaging UI copy to guide users through the product

Our take

Cosuno predicts that traditional methods of bidding and awarding construction services are obsolete, associated with significant wasted time and a lack of transparency. The startup aims to solve this problem by developing a B2B marketplace that provides project managers access to a database of around 80,000 subcontractors related to the construction industry.

Consuno's business model involves charging clients a monthly fee for access to their Software-as-a-Service product. Clients advertise their projects on the platform, receive applications from contractors in the area and approve the bids from the applicant selected. By 2021, over €1bn were processed in transactions through the platform since its conception.

The construction industry is currently experiencing rapid growth, leading to a scarce labor force and increased prices. Cosuno aims to capitalize on this opportunity by digitizing the construction industry and providing project managers with a one-stop shop that allows them to manage everything related to working with construction subcontractors on just one platform.
