What the job involves
- We’re at a pivotal moment in Business Banking (BB) Relationships, and we’re looking for a Development Manager to help shape what comes next
- Since launching in July 2024 to provide proactive support to BB clients, the team has gone from strength to strength—and now we’re expanding our reach to support all clients with turnover above £1 million
- This is your chance to play a leading role in a fast-growing, high-impact team that’s central to Commercial Banking Coverage (CBC) in BCB
- Reporting directly to the Head of BB Relationships, you’ll be part of the leadership team driving performance, designing cross-functional product campaigns, and using data-led insight to evolve our relationship model and deliver on our ambition to be the best bank for businesses
- Define, own, and implement strategies to identify key client opportunities through collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a data led approach – including product campaigns
- Lead the planning, strategic development, and delivery of initiatives to drive and enhance client relationships
- Support the team in achieving key priorities, which are focused on professionalising the channel, supporting clients, and creating capacity
- Support with our internal and external communication strategy. Creating impactful presentations and business cases to effectively engage individuals at all levels
- Work with key partners across BCB and the wider Group

Lloyds Bank, part of Lloyds Banking Group, began operations back in 1765 and is nowadays one of the UK’s leading retail and commercial banks. As with many leading banks, the company has dealt with its share of controversy – including for its handling of PPI complaints in 2015, and the 2009 European Commission ruling that forced it to part ways with TSB – but it has nonetheless stood the test of time and worked to build back its public reputation in the wake of these setbacks.
