Our take

Udacity is connecting education to jobs by providing students with skills to advance careers. Its revenue-driving 'Nanodegree' programs provide credentials to individuals earned through a series of online courses and projects from self-driving cars to digital marketing.

By partnering with leading technology companies to learn how technology is transforming industries, Udacity can teach the critical tech skills that companies are looking for in their workforce. With their powerful and flexible digital education platform, even the busiest learners can prepare themselves to take on the most in-demand tech roles.

The company sets itself apart from other online open course providers like Udemy, Goodwill or edX by focusing on industry-specific skills identified by tech companies themselves. In 2025, it expanded its education portfolio by launching a fully accredited Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence degree in partnership with Woolf, allowing learners to ear a formal graduate credential built on its project-based curriculum and its recognized across many countries.
