Chief of Staff, Volteras

• 3+ years of experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments (startups, scaleups or relevant industry)
• A background in operations, strategy, or project management — you're great at making things happen
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you're clear, concise, and persuasive
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail — nothing slips through the cracks with you
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset — you spot blockers early and find ways through them
• High trust and low ego — you can work closely with founders and teams without needing the spotlight
• Comfort working with senior stakeholders and execs — you’re confident in high-stakes rooms
• Based in or able to travel regularly to London (we’re hybrid but meet in person regularly)

Desirable

• This is a high-impact, high-trust role that will sit at the centre of the business. You’ll work directly with the CEO and leadership team to help Volteras scale — acting as a strategic partner, internal operator, and occasional firefighter
• Acting as the CEO’s right hand — helping manage priorities, follow-ups, and high-leverage projects
• Owning the internal rhythm of the company (team meetings, OKRs, leadership check-ins)
• Leading cross-functional projects that don’t neatly fit into one team — from go-to-market alignment to ops improvements
• Preparing materials for board meetings, investor updates, and strategic partnerships
• Building systems and processes that help us grow smoothly from 13 to 30+ people and beyond
• Helping teams stay aligned and focused — removing blockers, improving internal communication, and keeping everyone moving in the same direction
• Jumping into high-priority projects or urgent issues wherever needed — no two weeks will look the same
