Who you are
- Are you a customer-centric Product Manager with a passion for product marketing and knowledge of marketplace payments?
- 5+ years in Product Management, with at least 3 years of experience managing broader product scopes in start-up or scale-up environments
- Strong expertise in product marketing, copy, and communications—skills that drive product success and user engagement
- Experience working with two-sided marketplaces, with a focus on marketplace payments
- Proven track record of managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to execution
- A user-centric mindset that balances customer needs, business value, and company strategy to deliver impactful results
- A collaborative leadership style that fosters teamwork, communication, and trust under high-pressure conditions
- Data-driven approach to decision-making, with a focus on measuring success and continuously optimizing solutions
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
What the job involves
- We are looking for a results-driven Senior Product Manager (f/m/d) with experience working on a two-sided marketplace and a background in managing large product scopes in a scale-up environment
- Your background in product marketing and communication, will enable you to take ownership of key product areas, ensuring you drive growth and engagement
- You will join an eight person cross-functional team. Currently responsible for the payments domain, the team’s focus may evolve over time, offering exciting opportunities to work on diverse product areas. Therefore, we are looking for a versatile product manager who thrives on flexibility rather than a deep technical payments expert

- This is a permanent, full-time role based in Berlin, reporting directly to the CPO
- Own and shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area in alignment with overall company objectives
- Impact the overall product strategy by collaborating with the Product leadership team and ensuring customer-first thinking is at the forefront of product decisions
- Lead the development of innovative product solutions across multiple domains to drive growth and engagement for Wunderflats, handling large, high-impact initiatives
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including founders and cross-functional teams, throughout the product discovery, development, and execution phases
- Deliver customer-centric solutions by gathering and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative insights
- Lead and mentor your agile team, setting clear milestones, driving execution, and optimizing processes to meet deadlines and deliver results
Our take
The rise of technology for remote working, alongside the number of companies offering the set-up as an employment perk, has seen a marked increase in the number of digital nomads spending extended amounts of time working from abroad. As a result, the market for for mid- to long-term lets is growing, with demand anticipated to continue rising over the coming years. Proptech company Wunderflats is taking advantage of this trend.
Wunderflats has a broad scope; covering company travel arrangements, lettings for families & students, and a full furnishing and property management service. With operations beginning in Germany, the company found a lucrative testing ground that enabled it to showcase the popularity of its service, which in turn enabled it to secure growth funding. With this, it has brought its offering to 6 German cities, as well as beginning European expansion with Paris.
Germany has one of the largest rental markets in the EU, in addition to being one of the more popular destinations for digital nomads, which definitely contributed to Wunderflats gaining an edge over other hospitality providers. As the company brings its product to other EU markets, it will be interesting to watch how it effectively handles expansion and adaption to the demands of other countries and their consumers.
