Who you are

Able to write effective, scalable code using Go or Python to build full-stack applications, with autonomy
Experience with software integrations and data pipelines that connect multiple systems
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and good communication to explain complex problems to business partners

Desirable

Knowledge of React and Typescript (or willingness to learn)
Appetence to manipulate large datasets, including geospatial data
Knowledge of the basic infrastructure concepts behind the deployment of online applications (AWS)
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)

What the job involves

As a member of the internal tools team, you will have a lot of autonomy to shape Electra’s internal platform and technology choices
From the design and architecture of this internal platform to its deployment and operationalization, you will have an end-to-end approach to solving concrete problems at the center of Electra’s organisation
You will own our in-house internal applications, refine our strategy and continue developing them as strategical investments for Electra
One the focus of the team will be to work on our site selection tooling, making sure that our sales team is equipped with the right information to guide their search and decision process for future locations
You will also work closely with our corporate and finance teams, to build an integrated system and remove information access barriers
You will have the opportunity to improve everyone’s productivity and happiness at work by finding new solutions to long term pain points, for example by leveraging AI to build internal agents

As more people make the change to electric vehicles, public charging stations are in high demand. Electra is revolutionising electric vehicle charging with its installation of fast charging stations across major and medium-sized urban areas across Europe. In addition to the obvious benefit of having access to a fast-charging station, the company’s mobile and web application makes finding a station as simple as possible with its unique features.

The company has received support and recognition from the French government, joining the French Tech Next40, a government support program dedicated to the most promising French scale-ups and future European heavyweights.

The company saw a substantial injection of funding in mid-2022 that has enabled to company to accelerate its coverage of France and further expand in Europe – expanding to Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and more. With a goal of deploying 8,000 charging by 2030, the young company is certainly making promising progress toward achieving this goal.
