What the job involves
- As a Software Engineer in our Co-Op program, you will work alongside seasoned software engineers to build ASI’s Defense products
- Our engineers do it all, from meeting with customers to solving complex distributed systems problems. We do whatever it takes to solve our users’ most urgent needs
- You will learn how to distill product requirements, write design docs, and build complex software, shoulder to shoulder with the best engineers in the industry
- Our previous interns have built mission-critical features, such as detecting when planes are diverted or alerting when a scheduled route is expected to hit turbulence

Bringing AI to the aerospace and defense sectors, Air Space Intelligence supplies an operating system to support human intelligence and help operators in the air domain make better and faster decisions.
The company's Flyways platform leverages AI to generate predictions even in rapidly changing environments, providing contextually relevant actions to human operators. Specifically designed for high-stakes decision making, Flyways' value lies in its ability to fuse and enrich large sets of spatial and temporal data, from which it generates a new "4D lookahead" of the most likely scenario every few seconds.
In 2023, the company secured $34M to fuel growth and expand its government presence. Building on this momentum, Air Space Intelligence has since partnered with Joby Aviation to support the integration of electric air taxis into the US National Airspace System, positioning Flyways at the forefront of advanced air mobility.
