Role
Who you are
- An experienced credit risk analyst with 3+ years experience in using data to provide insight and strategic change
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential as the role will entail interaction with a range of stakeholders
- Open-minded go-getter, willing and able to work independently and collaboratively to solve challenging and interesting problems
- Logical and methodical problem solver, able to absorb complex information and propose solution
- Proficient in Microsoft packages in particular Excel and PowerPoint
- Coding experience (SQL/Python preferable)
- Knowledge of impairment/provisioning/IFRS9 preferable

- ⏰ Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week - hybrid working, 1 hour for lunch)
- Oodle are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst – Portfolio to help us take the company to the next level. There is an abundance of exciting and challenging projects to get your hands on! - Using analytical insight to drive decisions and change is fundamental to how Oodle operates. This role will be responsible for investigating and implementing loss forecast and payment support strategies optimising for performance and both company and customer outcomes. You will report into the Credit Risk function but will have opportunities to create impact in a variety of business areas like Customer Management, Operations, Finance, and Product, supporting strategic analytics and modelling
- Develop and optimise Oodle’s impairment and loss forecasting, leveraging internal and external data such as the credit reference agencies
- Monitor and identify trends and movements from the Oodle’s impairment outputs and enhance model governance and documentation
- Provide insight to management and operations on performance and productivity presenting to stakeholders at all levels, including members of the Executive Committee
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, communicating insights and strategy decisions to different business partners, developers, operations teams, and management
- Contribute to Oodle’s analytical models, employing cutting edge data science techniques and methodologies
- Extract, manipulate, and analyse data on the performance of Oodle’s portfolio, ensuring the portfolio and collections strategies are performing within expectations
- Work closely with operations including third parties to ensure the best customer outcomes
