Role
Who you are
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a quota-carrying role, preferably in the SaaS space
- Previous outbound prospecting experience is a plus
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
- Experience with consultative, value-based selling and a proven track record of exceeding quota
- Demonstrated successful track record of acquiring net new business via outbound prospecting tools
- Worked with multi-product offerings
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with startup experience
- Comfortable selling to VP, C-Suite executives, and IT leaders, navigating through multiple decision-makers in an organization
- Highly analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented
What the job involves
- As Own continues to scale, we are looking for a determined Account Executive to not only hunt for net new business, but to also grow their careers as sales professionals for years to come.
- In this quota carrying role, you will convert prospects into paying customers by handling both inbound and outbound leads.
- Your mission will be to identify strategic opportunities with prospects and new clients to build them into long-term profitable relationships.
- You will be prospecting to companies with an employee count of 1500+
- Create and own your Territory Plan of Commercial Accounts to prospect and develop new business opportunities and grow existing business
- Map out the decision-making process of each prospect to optimize conversions at each stage
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
- Maintain quarterly sales forecast and close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual booking objectives
- Cross-functionally work with Solution Engineers, Alliances, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to provide critical customer feedback loops that influence product roadmap to improve overall customer experience
- Participate in our world class sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, sophisticated sales training, and leadership and development programs
