What the job involves
- Cloud Infrastructure (CI) mission is to manage the company's cloud infrastructure, establishing standards for micro-services, and providing high-level abstractions for both application and platform teams
- In addition, CI also builds services to manage user access for the company's engineering systems
- This team is critical as it plays a significant role in the operation and security of the company
- The CI team plays a vital role in the success of Robinhood, as every application and platform within the company interfaces with our team
- The primary objective of the CI team is to establish Robinhood for long-term security, reliability, productivity, and scalability by redefining and managing our technology stack
- This approach ensures that our products are scalable, secure, reliable, and support the company's international and expansion initiatives
- Design large scale systems, making the right tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability
- Proactively identify and drive optimizations and improvements to the infrastructure and systems
- Lead organization-wide collaboration for the team
- Contribute to open source projects
