Who you are
- 1 - 2 years of work experience as an SDR, BDR, or related role
- Regular in-office attendance in London office
- Strong desire to work in sales
- Excellent communication skills, including cold-calling and email
- Self-starter attitude and the ability to execute new ideas with autonomy
- An interest in blockchain technology
- An ability to engage with customers to discern their product and partner-related needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and willingness to be prompt and responsive to a breadth of customer expectations
- A willingness to grow and adapt with an exciting company in a high-growth space
- Salesforce and HubSpot experience
- SDR tools - contact enrichment, emailing tools, Clay.com, etc
What the job involves
- As an SDR at Blockdaemon, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the blockchain industry forward, empowering developers and companies to accelerate their products on our leading infrastructure
- You’ll own the early stages of the sales process, from prospecting to engaging top teams in the blockchain space, laying the foundation for strong customer relationships and securing product sales that enable our clients to reach their goals
- Conduct top of the funnel research and find the best way to get in touch with the right points of contact on each team
- Educate cryptocurrency companies about nodes, staking, APIs and MPC technologies and how to troubleshoot their infrastructure issues (We have plenty of resources to bring you up to speed)
- Reach out to new leads via various communication channels and getting them excited for an introductory call
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Researches and understands our product line and be familiar with each product’s function and purpose to confidently cross-sell / upsell our customers to compatible products
- Manages the inside sales customer base / territory in an efficient and orderly manner through effective planning and implementation, and to include customer data input into field force CRM (tracking call activities and report generation to show impact)
- Familiar with modern SDR tools and frameworks - MEDDIC+, SPICED
- Effectively communicates Blockdaemon’s service offerings, the company’s strengths and highlights our brand by talking exclusively about the characteristics that make our organization unique
- Develop partnership opportunities with accelerators, incubators, and university blockchain clubs
- Share market feedback with the sales and product teams
- Track, analyze, and find ways to improve campaigns and the sales process
- Performs other duties as assigned

Our take
The idea for Blockdaemon originated when its founder ran Ethereum nodes in 2017, and realized that doing so was very difficult with the existing infrastructure at the time—none of the conventional cloud-formation tools available in the market could cater to blockchain. This idea grew into what is now the Blockdaemon platform.
The company offers node operations and infrastructure tooling for blockchain projects across their life-cycle: from testing to clusters for exchanges/custodians, and finally APIs for developers. Blockdaemon’s node management platform helps auto-scale blockchain networks securely with enhanced monitoring, APIs, back-up systems and more. It is able to maintain blockchain infrastructure across 40+ networks.
Blockdaemon is continually seeking ways to add value to the industry as a whole: its recent acquisition of Gem, a company which offers cryptocurrency API-related services, will allow Blockdaemon to immediately generate transaction-based revenue. Recent investment funding will also be put towards the development of its services, ensuring its platform is optimized for users.
