Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on user-centered design and research methodologies
- 2+ years of experience managing a team of UX designers and researchers
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in user-centered design in the B2B SaaS industry
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present and communicate design concepts and research findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing and mentoring UX design teams
What the job involves
- As the Senior Manager, User Experience (UX) with a focus on User-Centered Design (UCD), you will be responsible for leading the design and development of user-friendly products that meet the needs of our customers
- You will manage a team of UX designers to create intuitive and seamless user experiences across our products and platforms
- In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that our products are designed with the user in mind and meet our business objectives
- Lead the UX team in the design and development of user-centered products and experiences
- Develop and implement a user-centered design process that includes user research, persona development, user testing, and iterative design
- Work closely with product managers to ensure that user needs and business objectives are met in the product design
- Collaborate with developers to ensure that designs are technically feasible and meet the requirements of the development team
- Manage and mentor a team of UX designers, providing feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities
- Conduct Participate in and lead user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve the user experience
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize and plan UX projects based on business goals and user needs
- Ensure that design deliverables are of high quality and meet project timelines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and advocate for their adoption within the organization
