Role
Who you are
- We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic intern to join our small marketing, events, and communications team
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to Marketing, Communications, Business, Management, Administration, Environmental Science and/or Policy; OR:
- You study Business Economics, Finance, Finance, Engineering, Environmental studies or related and are passionate about Sustainability and ESG issues
- You have excellent collaboration skills with a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English (C1 at minimum). Knowledge of other languages is a plus
- You are very well organized and detail-oriented, and able to work in a busy, international environment
- You have a high degree of comfort using common software packages and online tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Experience with design and editing tools (e.g., Canva, Descript for audio/video editing), WordPress, and Salesforce is a plus
What the job involves
- This role offers a broad range of marketing and communications experience to help you develop your professional skills and competencies
- You will gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and communications and support various marketing operations activities
- Assist with digital marketing operations and updates across multiple channels, including website LinkedIn, newsletters, and the GRESB insights blog
- Support production of the Pulse by GRESB, GRESB’s audio content series, including recording and editing audio and video content
- Help prepare, test, and send out list emails and newsletters to targeted audiences and track relevant KPIs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and identify gaps, outdated information, and opportunities for improvement in marketing materials
- Support the application of SEO best practices, such as keyword usage and meta descriptions, to enhance online content visibility
- Provide general support for ongoing website maintenance and updates as the site evolves, including assisting with content changes, basic troubleshooting, and quality checks
- Provide general support for marketing projects and events to ensure smooth execution and successful outcomes
Our take
The international community has set a target for net zero emissions by 2050, but to make that happen, businesses need reliable data on environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics. GRESB was founded in 2009 to provide ESG data on business assets based on self-reported data and has since become regarded as the gold standard for investment managers to assess their ESG performance.
GRESB is the only ESG framework specifically designed for real estate, and it has earned widespread adoption within the industry. The platform now covers over $8T in assets - more than double the amount reported in 2019 - solidifying its reputation as an essential tool for investment managers. This growth reflects the growing emphasis on sustainability in real estate investment and the increasing demand for transparent, reliable ESG data.
The company continues to evolve its ESG model to better serve its users. Recent moves include the acquisition of companies like Asset Resolution, which develops tools for acquiring data from hard-to-measure sectors. Alongside this, the company has substantial funding which will help it further enhance its offerings and play a critical role in the transition to a sustainable, net-zero economy.
