Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree in a relevant discipline is a plus
- 2 years of experience or bachelor's degree in Computer/ Data Analytics or related field. Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Salesforce, SQL and data engineering best practices are desired. Experience/knowledge of online technologies (Google Analytics a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated aptitude for interpreting data sets and identifying meaningful insights
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable insights. Act as a liaison between the business and data engineering counterparts to develop the data pipeline, build Tableau data sources and metric definitions
- Nice to have understanding of customer support operations business processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and industry trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner. Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working with large datasets. Ability to identify data quality issues and implement appropriate measures to ensure data integrity
What the job involves
- You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing actionable insights, and delivering meaningful reports and presentations to key stakeholders
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other structured and unstructured data formats
- Report Development: Design and develop clear, concise, and visually appealing, automated self-service data visualization using Tableau/ Salesforce
- Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs, and translate those requirements into technical specifications for data extraction, transformation, and visualization with focus on automation
- Drive Insights : Presentations to communicate key findings, trends, and insights to stakeholders at various levels of the organization to drive decisions
- Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used for analysis and reporting by implementing data validation checks, data cleansing processes, and data governance best practices. Create and maintain a reporting catalog for Customer Support Org
- Ad Hoc Analysis and Special Projects: Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by stakeholders to address specific business questions or support strategic initiatives. Contribute to special/ Integration projects related to data analytics and business intelligence. Expertise using Excel and/or Google sheets to analyze data through pivot tables, custom functions, etc
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics. Continuously explore opportunities to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
