• We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team within the Tech department
• This role involves close collaboration with the data community (analytics engineers, data analysts), backend team, algorithm specialists, and DevOps engineers
• The Senior Data Engineer will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our data platform and its underlying infrastructure
• You’ll design and optimize data pipelines, ensure high data quality, and leverage your expertise in GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform to build scalable, reliable systems
• Additionally, you’ll contribute to the team’s technical direction, mentor colleagues, and drive innovation to meet business and technical goals
• Data Pipeline Development: Design and optimize scalable pipelines for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workflows using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub
• DevOps and Automation: Manage infrastructure with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform; implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and monitoring
• Code Management: Maintain version-controlled codebases (SQL, DBT, Python) and apply software engineering best practices to improve efficiency and reliability
• Data Quality: Ensure high data quality and reliability through automated validation, monitoring, and governance standards
• Cloud Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of GCP to build cost-efficient, high-performance, and scalable data solutions
• Technical Leadership: Mentor team members, promote collaboration, and contribute to innovative technical strategies aligned with business goals
