What the job involves
- The Colleague Communications and Experience team has been created as the centre of excellence to rethink how best we support both the strategic business delivery and cultural transformation through simpler, more targeted and consistent end to end colleague communications and experiences

- By providing clear and practical narratives and frameworks, it supports the business partnering teams and in-business communicators with pragmatic content, capability building and channel options
- It is also accountable for business partnering the non-customer facing and key enabling Group functions who play a critical role in the effective delivery of the strategy and transformation
- We're looking for a senior communications manager to provide the crucial link between the team and the implementation of business unit communications strategies, owned through the GCA business partnering teams
- Reporting into Head of Colleague Campaigns & Storytelling, the Business Unit Communications role will oversee the creation and delivery of business unit and function content, ensuring consistency our Group narrative and appropriate tailoring to drive clarity for our audiences
- You'll share compelling stories with targeted audiences that bring to life the role they play in supporting our transformation
- Work with the Business Unit and Function Business Partners to understand the communications needs of the business and create and tailor creative content to engage their audiences
- Oversee and support the content managers embedded in the respective Business Partner teams, building capability, ensuring consistency and quality, and innovating to drive impact while reducing volume
- Work closely and collaboratively with people and teams across GCA and the wider business. Leading matrix teams and squads, to ensure business unit communications are planned and delivered to achieve great outcomes and experiences for our audiences
- Curate content and engagement for business unit and function audiences, elevating and aligning with key Group themes in a way that is meaningful and impactful for business unit audiences
- Challenge constructively. Driving real purpose to communicate and helping to reduce the noise for our audiences
