Who you are
- Experience: 10+ years in senior HRBP roles, with a track record of transformative people leadership, coaching, and strategic execution. Experience in a leadership role within a technology organization is preferred
- Leadership: Minimum of 5 years managing HR teams; ability to inspire and develop others
- Credibility: Background in high-growth and agile businesses is a plus
- Communication: Exceptional communication and influence skills at all organizational levels
- Business and Data Acumen: Comfort with data, human capital insights, and people analytics to drive decisions

What the job involves
- We’re searching for an innovative Head of People to champion the People strategy for our business. This isn’t your average HR leadership role — we’re looking for a bold thinker, a compassionate coach, and a strategic powerhouse who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments
- As Head of People, you’ll blend big-picture leadership with hands-on execution. You’ll architect and drive the People strategy that powers our ambitious business goals, while mentoring a high-performing team of HR professionals. You'll work directly with our CEO and other senior executives, influence organizational design, and serve as a trusted advisor to shape our unique culture and business strategy
- This role is ideal for someone who sees HR not as a function, but as a strategic growth engine
- People Leadership: Lead and elevate the HR Business Partner team to deliver high-impact results. Guide the execution of our industry talent ecosystem — from recruitment to performance to succession
- Executive Partnership: Partner closely with senior leaders to shape people strategy, enhance team dynamics, leadership capabilities, and organizational health
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted business advisor to the CEO and other leaders, aligning talent strategies with business outcomes
- Culture Architect: Champion a thriving, inclusive, and values-driven workplace. Be the voice and steward of our employee experience
- Performance Leadership: Drive high-impact performance strategies and development initiatives that unlock potential, accelerate growth, and align teams with business outcomes
- Collaboration at Scale: Partner across the HR organization to ensure consistency, innovation, and excellence in our people practices. Partner with COE across RV (benefits, payroll, compensation, HRIS, etc)

Red Ventures was founded in 2000, shortly before the dot-com bubble burst. It survived the crash, however, and has grown into one of America's biggest digital media companies. Its brands include Lonely Planet, Healthline and TV Guide.
The company was last valued at around $11 billion, which is evidence that its focus on momentum and adaptability has proven successful. Red Ventures is one of the major companies leading the shift towards intent-based media. It has acquired a range of specialist sites and publishing houses that serve the travel, tech and health sectors.
Red Ventures has managed to successfully out-compete rivals by moving away from the more traditional direct sales approach. Instead, it has focused on guiding customers towards purchases on other sites, and then taking a commission.
