Who you are
- Mid level Front End Engineer:
- 4-5 years proven experience developing software in a commercial environment
- 2+ years experience in developing web applications in React
- 3+ years demonstrated ability in developing web applications in HTML5/CSS/JS using frameworks/libraries
- 1+ years’ experience in developing web applications in Python using web frameworks/libraries eg Flask/FastAPI
- Experience of working in an agile, fast paced continuous delivery environment
- Senior Front End Engineer:
- Experience driving complex initiatives without being given detailed direction
- A record of providing technical guidance and mentoring to the more junior team members
- 8+ years proven experience developing software in a commercial environment
- 4+ years experience in developing web applications in React
- 5+ years demonstrated ability in developing web applications in HTML5/CSS/JS using frameworks/libraries
- Proven ability to work in an agile, fast paced continuous delivery environment
- Other Qualifications (nice to haves) :
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably Computer Science/Engineering
- Experience working with ML and a curiosity about venturing into the backend service when needed to take on end-to-end problems would be an advantage
What the job involves
- We're recruiting Frontend and Fullstack (Python) Developers to join a newly formed team within our UI Platform group in Dublin
- This new team will be responsible for delivering a context aware co-pilot experience to Workday
- This is a frontend engineer role within the User Success Platform team in Workday
- Work in a multi-disciplinary scrum team. Define, build, deploy and own new features
- Collaborate with visual and interaction designers to craft the UI of the product
- Drive technical design and architecture meetings with the team and perform peer code reviews as part of everyday workflow
- Demonstrate technical awareness, vision and influencing skills in your interactions with the people outside your immediate team/org
- Have passion for innovation and ability to contribute to shaping the technical and product roadmaps
