Company mission
To create one million meaningful friendships across the globe.
Role
Who you are
- A well-travelled and/or culturally curious mindset — you understand what makes destinations special and how to design experiences that feel authentic and bring people together
- Experience creating unforgettable experiences — whether in travel, events, experiential design, hospitality, or a similar field where you’ve brought ideas to life for real people
- Someone who can spot emerging global travel and culture trends, creatively shaping them into new adventure concepts that get Flash Pack ahead of the curve
- Proven ability in using data to take a concept, shape it quickly, and turn it into something polished, scalable and operationally sound
- Strong relationship-building skills — you know how to work with global partners, negotiate confidently, and bring people along with your vision
- A commercially sharp approach: you’re comfortable with budgets, early performance metrics and making smart decisions that balance guest experience with financial reality
- Someone who thrives in fast-moving environments where priorities shift and big ideas need to become real, fast. You are strong at finding inventive solutions before issues become patterns
- A natural collaborator who loves working cross functionally to bring big ideas to market. You have experience managing multiple projects at once without losing clarity or quality
- We’re after the right person and if you don’t quite hit all the criteria, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’d love to chat and see if you could be a great fit for Flash Pack
What the job involves
- As an Adventure Product Innovation Manager at Flash Pack, you’ll be the person who lives, breathes and flat-out obsesses over travel. You’ve built unforgettable events or experiences before — now you want to do it on a global stage
- Your mission: go out into the world, uncover the most epic group adventures possible, and bring them to life with partners who can deliver them at scale
- You’ll design trips end-to-end: researching destinations, crafting standout moments, shaping itineraries that spark friendship, and ensuring each launch is commercially sound and operationally tight
- This is a hands-on, highly creative role where you’ll spot great ideas, shape them fast, and launch them at a best-in-class standard before handing them over for long-term growth
- If you love building experiences that genuinely change people’s lives — and you’re energised by balancing big creative thinking with smart commercial decisions — you’ll thrive here
- Hunting down the world’s most exciting destinations, experiences and adventure concepts — and turning them into real, bookable trips for solo travellers
- Designing end-to-end itineraries full of standout moments, connection opportunities, and innovative “wow” experiences that set Flash Pack apart
- Working closely with brilliant partners and local suppliers to build trips that feel unique, well-paced and operationally sound
- Using insights, guest feedback, and competitor research to shape products that people genuinely love — balancing creativity with commercial sense
- Setting launch budgets with our Pricing team and making smart decisions that ensure each new trip is financially healthy from day one
- Owning early-stage trip performance: keeping an eye on occupancy, margin, quality scores and overall stability while a trip beds in
- Ensuring every new trip meets our quality benchmarks — from delivery standards to guest sentiment — before handing it to the wider Product Operations team
- Keeping up with global travel trends, emerging destinations and fresh experience ideas, feeding them into a dynamic product roadmap
- Building strong working relationships across teams to make sure the trips you create not only launch brilliantly, but have long-term potential
Application process
- Our interviews take place on Google Meet and consist of the following stages:
- A screening call with a member of the Talent team to discuss your relevant experience to the role and give you further information on Flash Pack and the role itself. (c. 30 mins)
- An interview with the hiring manager and one other member of the team to hear more about your background and experience and to give you a deep dive into the role (45-60 mins)
- A case study and presentation with the hiring manager and a key stakeholder to see how you’d solve a problem (60 mins)
- Meet with one of our founders to see if your ways of working are a match with ours and how your own values might add to the culture and work of the team. (45-60 mins)
Our take
Flash Pack is a travel firm whose mission is to build new friendships through group travel for solo travellers. The founders are a couple who started discussing the business idea behind Flash Pack during their first date. Both of them realised that there was a gap in the market for a travel company that catered to people such as themselves.
Their target market is professionals with a growth mindset. Their trips are carefully designed to offer immersive and authentic experiences, distinguishing Flash Pack in a tourism market that is crowded with bland trips.
While the company took a hit during the pandemic, hitting pause on its adventures like many others - but it didn't stay down for long. Since relaunching, the company has seen even more success, with triple-digit year-on-year growth and a shelf full of awards to show for it. And with the solo travel market heating up fast, Flash Pack looks perfectly positioned to ride the next big wave.

- Growth Mindset: We compete in a hyper-competitive industry where benchmarking against competitors is the norm. We’re looking for people who want to set the benchmark rather than celebrate incremental improvements over the competition

- Humility: No A’holes please, this includes staff and customers. We bring together exceptional individuals but we optimise for the best team outcome. There is no individual bigger than the team and we don’t tolerate egotistical or selfish behaviour. Be self-critical, welcome feedback, continuously experiment and seek perspectives and solutions from outside the company
- Embrace the Adventure: Yes we stole this from Airbnb! To us this means embracing challenges, use feedback and learn from failures and mistakes rather than dwell on them. Be a curious and a continuous learner, focus on bettering oneself and your team rather than protecting oneself
