Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in strategic or growth-focused roles, such as management consulting or in a managerial position within a startup or scale-up
- A degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Business, Engineering, or Mathematics
- A proactive, action-oriented mindset, capable of quickly translating ideas into tangible results in a dynamic startup environment
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking coupled with a hands-on approach to tackling challenges
- Proficient in project management, capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire and drive team performance
- Proficiency in data analytics and dashboarding, using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Looker, Google sheets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Relevant experience or a strong interest in sustainable home energy is highly preferred
- You have a minimum fluency level of C1 in English, Dutch is beneficial
What the job involves
- As our Head of Growth & Analytics, you are pivotal in driving growth and enhancing the performance of our commercial organization, which consists of 60 professionals and is expanding
- You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and partnerships to initiate and test innovative growth initiatives and foster a data-driven culture
- Leading a team of business analysts and project managers, you will develop a commercial strategy that shapes decisions on pricing, promotions, and marketing initiatives
- You report to the CCO and will work closely with teams through the organization
- Identify and test growth levers to improve customer acquisition and conversion, and operational efficiencies
- Manage growth and commercial projects end-to-end, utilizing data-driven insights for decision-making
- Develop a commercial strategy to guide pricing, promotions, and marketing tactics, balancing short-term and long-term goals
- Define KPIs across different channels throughout the customer journey and build dashboards to track performance and guide business decisions
- Develop predictive models to forecast sales trends and business opportunities
- Lead initiatives across the commercial organization, in close collaboration with the marketing, sales and partnerships teams
- Recruit, manage and coach a team of 2-3 business analysts and project managers as a hands-on leader
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market competition and dynamics
- Lead the adoption of AI and other cutting-edge technologies
