Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in content marketing, social strategy, or related roles—ideally within high-growth startups or internet marketplaces
- Track record of producing high-performing content across multiple social platforms (Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Strong grasp of analytics and experimentation. You’re comfortable using metrics to make decisions and optimize content

What the job involves
- We’re hiring a Social Content Strategist (IC-4) to join our Marketing team and execute our go-to-market (GTM) strategy by creating and distributing engaging social content that grows our brand visibility and helps drive GMV
- This full-time role will be based in our San Francisco office and report directly to our Head of GTM Marketing, Bear Matthews
- You’ll work cross-functionally to implement strategic initiatives aimed at increasing total content views across platforms
- You are being hired to execute a content strategy that meaningfully increases total views on our social content and makes our partners ecstatic to be associated with DubClub
- Within 90 days, you’ll be expected to demonstrate a clear and measurable path toward achieving (or surpassing) our content view goals in support of GTM success
- Content Creation and Planning: Develop and implement content strategies across social media platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs
- Social Media Strategy: Create and manage social media campaigns to engage audiences and increase brand awareness
- Content Editing: Creation and editing of original content in collaboration with DubClub’s founders and our partners
- Content Distribution: Oversee the distribution of content across various social media platforms, ensuring consistency and relevance
- Analytics and Optimization: Analyze engagement metrics to optimize content performance and adjust strategies accordingly
Our take
Sports content creators, known as Cappers, are valuable information sources for those placing bets on sports matches. However, the founders of DubClub discovered that collating all these creators' information was an unreliable process of scrolling through different sources. Its solution is a platform where sports content creators are paid to publish their videos and blogs on one platform, creating a centralized source of information for bettors and sports content subscribers.
The concept behind DubClub is multifaceted in that it works both as a betting source for odds and strategies, but also as a social media and publishing marketplace for the casual sports fan. The paid subscriptions to specific content creators mean that income for creators isn’t diluted through aggregated monthly earnings, meaning that in theory, content creators would make more direct income than on other platforms reliant on advertising.
Though a small company, more informed betting and higher earnings for content creators are an attractive prospect for consumers and creators alike. DubClub is only set to grow off the back of 2024’s round of $7.5 million in Series A funding. It’ll be interesting to see how the company develops its platform and market share.
