What the job involves
- Sophos is looking for a new team member to join our world-class Americas regional marketing team. Sophos has a strong culture, commitment to excellence, and promotes from within
- Reporting to the Manager, Americas Regional Marketing, the Americas Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of various marketing strategies, tools, and tactics to support Sophos’ long-term business objectives

- Provide on-going support for regional marketing activities
- Work in collaboration with the Americas Marketing Team to implement brand requirements and standards, prepare presentations, support the development of marketing materials and social media content to drive marketing campaigns
- Coordinate the distribution of external emails, report on email-specific metrics and recommendations
- Manage a calendar of external sponsorships, industry conferences, and speaking opportunities. liaise with internal teams to determine and coordinate participation
- Proactively plan and execute against the marketing calendar for consistent on-time delivery
- Handle accounting processes such as budgeting, event contracts, and invoices
- Build strong working relationships across the organization to ensure good collaboration, efficient problem solving, and creative solutions for delivering results. Cross-functional teams will include marketing, sales, PR, product, and finance

As well as its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) product - which, serving over 15,000 customers, is the most-used on the market - the company also delivers Incident Response Services for those experiencing an active threat.
Sophos is not a new player in the cybersecurity space, but has demonstrated its dedication to innovation with continued product launches, updates, and acquisitions such as that of BAE spinout SOC.OS that have kept its tech at the front of the market. Alongside many of its peers, the effects of the economic climate have caused Sophos to cut staff as it focusses on achieving “the optimal balance of growth and profitability", but this recent hiccup does not take away from its position as a market leader continuously leading adaption in the space.
