Who you are
- First experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing high-quality, timely service
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Self-driven with an eagerness to keep up to date with Talent Acquisition trends and technical/AI developments
- Fluency in German and English
Desirable
- Advanced skills with Excel/Spreadsheets and analytical skills to support data driven decision based on recruiting metrics
- Basic knowledge or interest in employer branding initiatives
- Exposure in skill-based or high-volume recruitment settings

- As a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in building HelloBetter’s team and nurturing its culture by hiring the best matching talents
- Your efforts will ensure we attract, nurture, and onboard individuals who are competent, passionate and driven to make a difference in the digital mental health sector
- Your day-to-day will be:
- End-to-End Hiring:Managing the recruitment process from job requisition to offer acceptance, focusing on sourcing, engaging, and interviewing candidates across all roles
- Candidate Experience: Enhance candidate relationships through timely and thoughtful and positive communication and engaging experiences, always keeping quality and speed in focus
- Hiring Manager Collaboration: Work alongside hiring managers to identify and attract the best matching candidates, ensuring a seamless hiring experience
- Sourcing & Candidate Attraction: Utilize diverse sourcing & attraction channels to engage top talent and build a strong candidate pipeline
- ATS Management: Operate our Applicant Tracking System, ensuring efficient operations and data accuracy
- You will also be involved in:
- Process Improvements & Automations: Assist in refining recruiting practices and opportunities to include AI/automations, making our operations more efficient yet fair and skill-based
- KPIs & Reporting: Be on top of your KPIs and analyze funnel and satisfaction data to optimize the recruitment funnel & experience
- Employer Branding & Projects: Contribute to employer branding initiatives and build positive relationships with potential candidates

People all over the world struggle with psychological problems on a day-to-day basis, and whilst awareness, education, and therapeutic services are on the rise, it can still be difficult to access the help that is needed. Whilst some countries provide some mental health services for free, most specialized psychological support is very expensive, subject to long waiting lists, and inaccessible to many.
HelloBetter provides a platform of online psychological courses, tackling specialized subjects such as work-related stress and burnout, mental health issues as a result of chronic pain, and diabetes-related depression. The courses are curated by world-leading mental help researchers and course developers and are eligible to be prescribed for free on a patient's health insurance.
The internet has long since been used as a platform for psychological courses, but these usually lack an expert-approved framework, and options that do meet professional standards are expensive. By partnering with psychologists, researchers, doctors, and health insurance providers, HelloBetter is standing out with its efforts to make psychological care as accessible as possible. And with a stack of funding under its belt (with the latest coming in 2025), the German company is setting its sight on tackling the French market next.
