Role
Who you are
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role—preferably in SaaS, or dev tools.Proven expertise in content strategy, demand generation, and full-funnel growth
- A strong understanding of data-driven marketing and performance metrics (SEO, CAC, CVR, LTV, etc.)
- Ability to turn product features into movement-worthy messages
- Experience in HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta, etc. and analytics tools
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create short-form, conversion-driven copy
Desirable
- Familiarity with no-code or low-code development platforms
- Prior experience in Start-Up experience a plus
- Experience with tools like Hubspot, Webflow, and Brevo a plus
What the job involves
- As the Director of Marketing at Thunkable, you’ll be responsible for leading and overseeing all of Thunkable’s marketing activities, including the development and implementation of Thunkable’s marketing strategy, budget management and driving brand awareness and sales growth
- You’ll be responsible for analyzing market trends, coordinating marketing campaigns and aligning marketing goals with overall business objectives
- Develop, execute, and optimize demand generation campaigns across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels to drive user acquisition and trial starts.Own performance marketing and conversion funnels from top-of-funnel awareness to post-signup activation
- Define and track KPIs to evaluate campaign performance and channel ROI. Move fast, iterate often.Generate high-quality leads and improve conversion to paid users
- Own Thunkable’s marketing roadmap and budget. Prioritize impact.Report directly to the CEO. This is a leadership role with high visibility and high impact
- Own and execute our content marketing strategy, including blog, SEO, video, email, and thought leadership content that drives inbound interest and brand authority.Partner with Product and Customer Success to communicate the value of our features to developers, educators, and emerging tech creators.Build compelling narratives across channels to position Thunkable as a leader in no-code and AI-powered development

Almost everyone of all ages has a device capable of running mobile apps, but the ability to make and deploy utilities and games is limited to those with extensive programming abilities. Thunkable is a no-code development platform that lets anyone design, develop, and deploy native mobile applications without having to write a single line of code.
Though there are already a number of low- and no-code mobile app building platforms (including FlutterFlow, AppyPie, Builder, and more under development), Thunkable's platform allows more freedom to design than competitors. Thunkable is unique in providing tooling rather than templates, emphasising the freedom to build anything with its drag-and-drop interface. Thunkable’s simple yet robust cross-platform app builder has equipped more than 3 million users to create over 7 million apps.
The company’s Series B funding round was led by Owl Ventures and had support from DJ Diplo (Thomas Pentz). Thunkable is focusing on enhancing third-party integration, improving native device functions (like NFC and Bluetooth), and boosting shareability & collaboration. With recent design and accessibility innovations, such as its Figma import capabilities, Thunkable is a game-changer in the no-code space.
