Who you are
- JD from an accredited law school and state bar admission
- 8+ years relevant legal experience (law firm and/or in-house experience)
- Experience with a variety of commercial transactions with a willingness and ability to be flexible and to develop new expertise

What the job involves
- We are a cutting-edge cyber security company and we are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy senior commercial counsel to join our global legal team. This role will be based in our San Francisco office and report to the General Counsel

- Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of a high volume of commercial agreements including SaaS, OEM, MSAs, SOWs, channel and professional services agreements
- Process Improvement: Develop, maintain, and enhance commercial playbooks, contract templates and contract management to improve operational efficiency, ensure consistency, and support scalability
- Strategic Legal Advice: Provide legal counsel on matters relating to legal risk, business strategy, and contract structuring
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Be a valued member of a growing cross-functional and global team, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations and Professional Services to support the growth and success of the business
- Legal Compliance: Remain up-to-date on relevant industry laws and regulations to ensure an ongoing ability to provide sound compliance advice
