• We are seeking an accomplished Director, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to build and lead our external reporting function
• Manage the end-to-end preparation and filing of all SEC documents, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements, and Section 16 filings (Forms 3, 4, 5)
• Ensure compliance with all Regulation S-X and S-K disclosure requirements
• Design, implement, and maintain a best-in-class SEC reporting calendar, processes, and disclosure controls and procedures (DCPs). This includes developing the narrative disclosure process and managing the tie-out and supporting documentation for all filings
• Lead the research, evaluation, and documentation of complex US GAAP and SEC reporting matters
• Author technical accounting memos and guide the implementation of new accounting standards across the organization
• Serve as the subject matter expert and administrator for SEC reporting software, specifically DFIN's ActiveDisclosure platform
• Partner closely with the CFO, Corporate Controller, Legal Counsel, FP&A, and Investor Relations teams to ensure a cohesive and transparent reporting process
• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff
• Manage external audit firm relationships regarding SEC matters
• Assist with the financial reporting impact of strategic initiatives, including M&A activities, debt offerings, and other material transactions
