- 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle field sales role, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise software
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in a high-growth environment
- Experience prioritizing accounts and activities for effectiveness
- Strong prospecting skills with the ability to develop net-new business
- Experience managing 30–90+ day sales cycles with mid-market and commercial customers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with virtual teams
- Mastery of MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies is a plus
- Proficient with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern sales tools (e.g., Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
What the job involves
- SentinelOne is looking for a high-performing Senior Commercial Sales Representative to drive growth across our rapidly expanding customer base
- In this role, you’ll be responsible for selling SentinelOne’s cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to mid-sized and emerging enterprise organizations
- You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—while developing strong relationships with customers and working collaboratively with internal teams, including Sales Engineering, Channel, and Customer Success
- Own and drive full sales cycles within a defined account list —prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals
- Build and execute a territory plan focused on acquiring new logos and expanding within existing accounts
- Create and maintain account plans for key accounts
- Partner with Sales Engineers to deliver compelling demos and technical validations
- Engage and enable channel partners to scale pipeline and accelerate sales velocity
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management using Salesforce and other sales tools
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, competitive landscape, and SentinelOne’s evolving product portfolio
- Represent SentinelOne at industry events, conferences, partner offices and field marketing initiatives within the region
Our take
Cybercriminals are now leveraging the power of automation to make the current threat landscape too advanced for a lot of legacy antivirus software. SentinelOne is a cybersecurity company that matches this automation, with machine learning-focused software that is built to help businesses battle online attacks.
The company expanded the scope of its business from the endpoint security market to three markets valued at a combined $30 billion, including the corporate endpoint security and IT operations management markets. This gives SentinelOne a bigger potential customer base, although also puts them in direct competition with more focused cybersecurity companies, in addition to its biggest competitor, CrowdStrike.
When the company went public, it made financial headlines as the highest-valued cybersecurity IPO ever, which gave SentinelOne a market cap of $10B, though it's now fallen to around $4B. It has subsequently launched S Ventures, a $100M fund, through which SentinelOne invests in cybersecurity startups and has expanded its partnership with major tax firm KPMG to accelerate cyber investigations and responses to threats.
