Role
Who you are
- Knowledge of using tools- Google analytics, Tableau, Metabase, Salesforce, Google sheets, Excel
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Finance or similar field
- You love data, numbers, excel/Google Sheets
- 4+ years of experience with Google Analytics & GTM (Other web analytics tool or Snowplow are a bonus)
- A plus: Proficiency in SQL, Python (or R)
- Familiar with accessing data in from data warehouses
- Experience in building models/funnels to analyse user behaviors
- Ability to communicate complex information in an easy to understand format
- Working experience with data engineers and product managers, especially around providing product-centric insights
- Very curious, detail oriented and methodical
- Pragmatic and willing to take on responsibilities very rapidly
- Excellent English communication and storytelling skills
What the job involves
- Collect, analyse and report on operational KPIs to measure performance and success; with a focus on growth
- Report and models could come from both growth and financial stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product+Marketing+Sales teams for setting revenue and profitability targets for the operations and business goals
- Analyse reports at regional and national level, identifying trends and benchmarking
- Experience/Undertanding of digital growth terminology: LTV, CAC, CPA, ROAS, ROI, CPC, CTR
- Provide high quality, customer focused, technical and insights performance
- Prepare and communicate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to inform internal and external stakeholders on Business operational performance and quality check same
- Raise risks and issues as appropriate Managers
- Analyze the market and competitor environment to identify and develop innovative business approaches and additional growth markets
Our take
The boat rental industry is growing, and considering that it’s long lagged behind the likes of flight booking, accommodation, and car rental in terms of tech solutions, there looks to be lots of potential for even further expansion.
Founded in 2014 in Germany, Zizoo has essentially been doing for boats what the likes of Booking.com and Agoda have been doing for hotel rooms. It’s been pretty successful too. While there are a number of similar models out there – Click&Boat and Sailo for example – Zizoo is recognized amongst the top five or ten in the world.
After a well publicized funding round back in 2018, Zizoo went on a major global expansion mission, increasing its reach to over 30 countries and now offering tens of thousands of boats for rent.
While the entire travel market took a huge blow during the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has bounced back in a big way, offering Zizoo plenty of hope for even more growth in the future.
