Company mission
To make mental well-being accessible to all.
Role
Who you are
- You genuinely enjoy working with people; you’re energised by conversations, building relationships, and connecting with stakeholders at different levels
- You bring a combination of drive, curiosity, and resilience. You take ownership, learn from setbacks, and continuously look for ways to improve. You’re comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a team that builds together
- Mental well-being resonates with you as something that matters and something you want to contribute to
- 10+ years of experience in sales (ideally B2B SaaS or high-growth environments)
- Strong relationship-building skills - you’re a natural, confident and engaging networker
- Experience - or interest - in building a network within HR or People teams
- Proven success in closing deals with medium- to large-enterprises
- A structured, action-oriented way of working and a relationship-focussed sales approach
- Enthusiasm for working in a highly dynamic, AI-forward international environment
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive
- Fluent language skills in both German and English
What the job involves
- We’re growing our presence in the DACH market and are looking for entrepreneurial, purpose-driven Account Executives to help build this market with us
- In this role, you own the full sales cycle end-to-end - from identifying opportunities and opening conversations, through to closing deals and building long-term relationships. This is not a “plug-and-play” sales role; it’s an opportunity to shape how we grow in DACH
- You’ll work closely with our Business Development, Customer Success, and Marketing teams as part of a collaborative, international commercial team
- Drive new business by identifying and engaging potential clients across the DACH region
- Build and expand a strong network of B2B partnerships
- Grow existing accounts by spotting expansion opportunities (including international rollouts)
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for your customers
Application process
- Please apply and we’ll be in touch soon
Our take
Therapy and consultations are invaluable resources for helping people manage their mental health, but accessing such services is not easy. Long waiting lists, strict assessments, and other time-consuming processes present significant challenges, and this can often dishearten or even prevent someone from receiving the care they need.
OpenUp provides low-threshold mental health services, offering consultations, coaching and other programs for both individuals and workforces. The company's application process is designed to be as simple and undemanding as possible, aiming to eradicate the usual challenges and ultimately increasing access to mental health care.
There are many startups providing mental health service marketplaces, AI-driven therapy, and other innovative tools - but OpenUp has stuck with a more traditional approach. Instead it has innovated upon the way users apply for the services, aiming to remove as much bureaucratic friction as possible for their clients.
So far this approach has met with success, and OpenUp has grown a client base of over 850 companies including the likes of McDonalds, Deloitte and Decathlon. Having raised significant funding, OpenUp continues to expand its services across Europe, focusing on Spain, France and the UK.
