What the job involves
- The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is the first step in our sales career path
- Our comprehensive Sales Academy provides foundational sales training, hands-on mentorship, and the tools necessary to succeed
- Success in this role opens the door to advance, culminating in our elite Licensed Loan Officer program and leadership positions
- The Sales Academy includes:

- Performance showcase: A final live presentation to senior executives as part of your graduation process

- As a BDR, your focus will be on engaging homebuyers who are curious about Tomo and need guidance on their mortgage journey
- Rapidly connect with customers via phone, text, and email to build rapport and trust
- Manage and nurture a pipeline of prospective homebuyers
- Collaborate with Loan Officers to ensure smooth customer handoffs and successful outcomes
- Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions and deliver on commitments
- Provide feedback to our product and executive teams, contributing to innovation and improvement
- Embrace a fast-paced, evolving environment where adaptability and curiosity are key
- This role requires working West Coast hours, typically 12:00pm-9:00pm or 1:00pm-10:00pm EST
- It also requires some availability during non-traditional hours (evenings and weekends), as that’s when some of our customers are available
