Role
Who you are
- French: Native-level proficiency
- English: Fluent, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- >5 years of experience in the entire sales cycle, focusing on enterprise orgs
- Experience selling cybersecurity solutions/products OR complex SaaS products in the French market
- Demonstrated results in growing a business and expanding a market
- Strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets, while adaptable and resilient to changes
- Strong analytics and technology adoption mindset. Understanding of CRMs and how to best use them for the sales process
- Ability to build strong business relationships by personalizing, creating value, and collaborating effectively
- Commercial creativity and analysis capabilities
What the job involves
- Join our Europe team and help expand our enterprise client roster as the first dedicated Enterprise AE in France
- While the main focus is on France, you’ll have the chance to cover the greater Mediterranean region (maternity cover for another AE)
- Secure new clients, while growing existing accounts, armed with self-generated leads and backed by collaborative efforts with our energetic Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Marketing team

- Renowned among cybersecurity aficionados, our product boasts a stellar reputation, thanks to its loyal fan base within the cybersecurity community
- Get ready to be part of a brand that's not just strong – it's formidable
- Reporting to the VP of Sales, Europe, you'll team up with our Business Development Representative to supercharge your lead generation endeavors, while Solutions Engineers will join forces with you for those in-depth technical discussions
- The Customer Success team will be your partners in ensuring top-notch customer experiences every step of the way
- And that's not all – you'll also collaborate with our marketing, product, and content teams, leveraging valuable customer insights to fuel continuous improvements
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- New Business Development. Find or create new logo opportunities and grow a robust pipeline of sales opportunities
- Increasing the value of current customers
- Develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs as well as to map out the existing market landscape and industry trends
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to the law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. and update company’s sales tools
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

Our take
Cybersecurity attacks have ballooned in number recently, shining a spotlight on the urgent need for tighter, sharper cybersecurity measures. Hack the Box’s response has been to create what they call a ‘massive cyberhacking playground’. It’s a cybersecurity skill platform where B2C users can explore gameified cyber training and penetration testing exercises, engage with the infosec community, and explore careers vacancies. B2B customers can access the same training, with additional administrative features.
All in all, it’s a comprehensive offering that allows Hack the Box to sit at the intersection of two lucrative and growing markets. On the one hand, an increase in people carrying out career pivots towards the tech sector, and pursuing online training opportunities. On the other, an increased business focus on (and investment in) improving cybersecurity postures.
Consequently, Hack the Box has seen substantial growth over the past few years, off the back of considerable funding up to series B. It’s touted as the world’s largest hacking community, with over 3.3 million platform members and a growing number of products, including new training programs such as penetration testing labs, and an academy. With demand for these skills rising, and demand for online teaching equally strong, Hack the Box is operating within a strong market with good growth potential.
