What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist
- This role is responsible for owning and managing the Lovevery YouTube channel, leading strategy to drive measurable audience and revenue growth in alignment with broader communications and social media goals
- Manage publishing operations on the Lovevery YouTube account, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices
- Select and transfer content from Lovevery app to YouTube
- Optimise video titles, thumbnails, descriptions, metadata, and keywords to maximise SEO and engagement
- Build a repeatable optimization + publishing process
- Monitor competitor and industry trends, identifying opportunities to evolve strategy and stay ahead of platform developments
- Continuously update and optimize back catalogue content to extend performance
- Analyse performance data and run A/B tests to deliver actionable insights for growth
- Share regular performance and revenue updates with internal stakeholders
- Act as the internal YouTube expert, keeping the team informed on new products, formats, and behavioural shifts
- Stay up to date with evolving platform features, trends, and training opportunities
- Develop and execute a YouTube-first content strategy and audience development tactics that grows subscribers, increases watch time, and improves monetization
- Build and iterate repeatable, habit-forming content strategies, including video formats and best practices that improve content performance and drive long-term engagement
- Own and manage all publishing workflows, including scheduling, packaging, and optimization for search and discovery algorithms
- Write, edit, and optimize video titles, descriptions, and thumbnails using YouTube SEO and LLM best practices to maximize visibility and click-through performance
- Identify YouTube search queries relevant to parents
Our take
A child’s first toy - whether that’s building blocks or a Ken doll - will serve their first foray into learning. Lovevery recognizes the relationship between toys and child development, offering Montessori-inspired, naturally made play kits. Subscribers to Lovevery receive a box every few months containing age-appropriate toys that change and grow in tandem with the child.
Whilst the products are aesthetically pleasing and well built, they are uniquely inclusive, being both gender neutral and customizable, such as a doll’s skin tone. Along with information on its accompanying app, each kit comes with “play cards” that provides context around the toy and its educational purpose, creating an informative and empowering space for parents when approaching play.
Lovevery continues to evolve, starting as a play kit provider and now with an app with hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Its partnerships with Target and an expansion into the European market indicate impressive growth. And with new launches including a resale marketplace, the company is well set for even more growth.
