Who you are

Two+ years of General Accounting knowledge
Strong computer skills including Accounting Systems/ERP and excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
Ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment
Excellent attention to detail
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree (a degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus)

What the job involves

Prepare and process customer invoicing
Post and process certain journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Perform general accounting reconciliations
Daily reconciliation of all payment activities to correct settlement batches
Daily entry, application, and deposit preparation related to AR deposits
Maintain and manage customer database from the perspective of collections and billing accuracy
Investigate and resolve open items related to customer invoicing
Maintain all customer files
Apply customer payments timely and accurately into the accounting system
Responsible for all customer portal submissions and maintenance
Review and respond to customer correspondence
Monthly customer margin review
Participate in ad-hoc accounting and finance projects
