Who you are

3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or startups
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
Proven analytical and project management skills. Financial modeling skills are preferred but optional
Proficiency in various tools, ranging from Office/GSuite, CRM systems, ChatGPT, to Adobe and Canva. You should be a power-user of one of the software tools -- during the interview process you will be asked to showcase your skills. You should be capable of quickly learning new software tools on your own
Proficiency in building presentations (e.g., slide decks) independently only with access to relevant data

What the job involves

You will support the CEO by independently driving execution across all aspects of the business, ranging from administration, finance, HR, to commercial ops, investor relations, partnerships, and others
You will often be a cross-functional project manager, communicating and working directly with research, engineering, commercial and ops teams. You will make sure that all teams are making progress on critical initiatives and track it using OKRs you own. You will identify bottlenecks and resolve them yourself
Prepare high-impact presentations, reports, analyses for internal and external stakeholders (employees, investors, board of directors, partners, physicians)
Handle administrative/HR tasks, including payroll, recruitment, financial forecasting and reporting, managing vendors and consultants, etc

Our take

When treating patients with cancer, a critical issue is varied progression rates. Some cancers are aggressive while others are slow growing, making it difficult to decide the best treatment plan and avoid unnecessary treatments. Ataraxis AI is tackling this problem, beginning with breast cancer.

The company has developed an AI-powered diagnostic tool called Ataraxis Breast, which assesses whether a breast cancer is high or low risk. A recent study suggests that the company's system is up to 30% more accurate than the current standard. This allows doctors to make more informed decisions, taking the predicted progression into account.

Founded in 2023, the company is already making impressive strides, emerging from stealth with promising seed funds. Ataraxis AI plans to enhance its tools further and expand its product line into other cancers, with its software made available to healthcare providers by 2025.
