What the job involves
- You’ll be an integral part of our Sales team by working to fill our pipeline through prospecting and qualifying potential clients and eventually, moving into an outbound closing role
- This is a great opportunity to learn our business and establish a strong foundation for upward mobility
- We’re a collaborative and diverse team that wins together, providing you the opportunity to learn from a wide array of people and really hone your skills while you master consultative selling in a fast-paced environment
- Generate and schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives through cold calls, emails, and strategic outbound campaigns
- Strategically research prospective companies to identify potential client contacts
- Communicate A.Team’s business model to new clients in an impactful way that clearly distinguishes A.Team’s competitive advantages
- Support Sales in all aspects of the sales cycle, including scheduling follow-up meetings and managing the pipelines of completed meetings to ensure all prospective clients are being contacted throughout the year
- Work with Marketing to help drive attendance to events, webinars, and conferences
- Support Marketing with post-event follow up to book meetings with warm leads
- Work towards weekly/monthly/quarterly goals to stay on target
Our take
A.Team’s member-only gig marketplace for what it calls “builders” – product engineers and other high-skill tech workers – allows member companies to quickly put together distributed teams. Despite only emerging from stealth mode in the second quarter of 2022, the startup has already onboarded the likes of Lyft, The Economist and Pepsico.
The company’s launch came at an opportune time. As the so-called “great resignation” opens up a world of opportunities for skilled tech workers, the global gig economy is generating more money than ever, and remote-friendly working conditions mean that rapidly formed, distributed teams are now working on more high stakes projects than ever.
A.Team has wasted no time in raising huge amounts of funding to scale and expand both its in-house team as well as its network of members. Firstminutecapital provided VC funding in 2023 so the next big challenge will be to keep standards high, from both the client and service provider perspective, as the company grows rapidly.
