Who you are
- If you love to solve ambiguous problems, define experiments, and make a measurable impact, we want to hear from you
- 5+ years of product design experience with a focus on growth and experimentation
- A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to design and ship flows that drive activation, conversion, or retention
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform and evaluate design decisions
- Experience leading experiments and collaborating with product and data teams to define success and measure impact
- Strategic and self-directed—you proactively define problems, shape experiments, align stakeholders, and move work forward without waiting for direction
- Proficient in Figma and design systems, with experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate design thinking and drive efficient iteration
- Strong systems thinking and visual design craft—you care about clarity, usability, and polish
- Ability to collaborate in-office weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer, Growth who’s passionate about helping new customers realize value—fast. You’ll focus on the early stages of the customer journey, from account creation to onboarding and activation, bringing both strategy and execution to the table
- This is a unique opportunity to shape how customers experience our product from the very first interaction.. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver real results and raise the bar every step of the way
- Lead and execute initiatives and experiments that accelerate activation, improve time to value, and improve conversion in the first 30 days
- Partner with product, engineering, customer success, and marketing to deliver seamless, intuitive experiences across web and mobile
- Champion a test-and-learn culture across teams, ensuring fast learning and iteration on the highest-impact problems
- Take initiative in identifying, shaping, and driving end-to-end experiments—from hypothesis to execution—with a high bar for quality and speed
- Translate insights from behavioral data, user feedback, and product analytics into clear design direction and action

Our take
Homebase provide employees and businesses with time tracking applications, with a range of other HR functionality built in. Homebase automates the process of managing employee scheduling, and also helps companies improve internal communications.
The company contributes to the reduction of paperwork in an office by turning an array of devices into time clocks that track hours and overtime, while also providing payroll support. This makes it easier for companies to remain in sync, running a more efficient operation as a result.
Given that Homebase's customer base of small businesses is not able to pay a lot for its product, scale is the key driver in the company's future success. With over 100,000 customers already, its significant venture capital backing will ensure that the company will be able to grow (notably it's investing in Canadian talent) to provide its services on a profitable scale.
