Senior Electrical Engineer, Anduril Industries

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits
• Experience developing schematics, interconnect diagrams, and wiring harnesses
• Comfortable with a variety of electronic CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, others acceptable)
• Familiarity with networking and standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, USB, MODBUS, ProfiNet, etc
• Competence with test equipment such as multi-meter, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automation of tests
• Experience with electro-mechanical and electrical design concepts
• Experience in design for signal integrity / power integrity
• Experience in designing and integrating low-power electronics
• Experience in fieldable system design
• Familiarity with developing and executing test plans for complex systems
• High-ownership and a bias toward action – if you see a problem, you want to solve and fix it
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

• We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team in Costa Mesa, California
• Working closely with program leadership and engineering teams, you'll own the electrical architecture and design for several containerized payloads — from initial concept through build, test, and production
• You'll embody a "test early, test often" mindset: supporting HITL development, ensuring subsystems integrate cleanly, and root-causing electrical issues as they surface
• Expect to spend meaningful time on the water, putting payloads through their paces and demonstrating them to internal stakeholders and external customers alike
• Develop electrical schematics, power system single line diagrams, system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment within a subsystem and between subsystems
• Design electrical interfaces and enclosures for integration of sensors, and peripheral equipment with autonomous systems
• Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and basic software debugging tools
• Develop subsystems (sensors, interfaces, power management, and networking) for bespoke capabilities
• Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
• Work in a fast-paced environment balancing schedule against cost and performance parameters
• Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews, perform requirements analysis, and plan system verification to ensure compliance with project goals and industry standards
