Role
Who you are
- You are an excellent PM who effectively runs and tracks projects to completion, holding yourself and your stakeholders accountable to on-time deliverables
- You have experience and excel in helping customers onboard to a technical product or API product
- You are highly organized and have proven systems to effectively track many onboarding projects at once
- You are excited about a role that isn’t perfectly defined and encourages you to make an impact in more than one area
- You have a knack for helping people grasp technical concepts, and prioritize keeping your customers and stakeholders up to date with what they need to know
- Experience with a more technical product or one with a significant API component will give you a leg up
- For this role, we’re particularly interested in finding someone who is just as excited to take a hands-on approach to onboarding new customers, as they are to build processes, write documentation, and help productize our approach to onboarding
- Demonstrable experience building onboarding processes while executing them is a must
What the job involves
- Onboarding Customers:
- Ownership over new customer onboarding and value realization
- Collaboration with Sales and Customer Success in resolving customer needs and overcoming onboarding barriers
- Developing process that contributes to fast, repeatable onboarding experiences, and creating content that enables customer self-service
- Reporting and tracking of customer onboarding outcomes, with a focus on driving a high activation rate, and fast time-to-value
- Customer Support: Providing support to steady-state customers when team capacity and customer needs dictate
- Professional Services: Becoming the owner of PDL’s Professional Services function, and in particular, owning our Batch Enrichment service

Their clients include Kleiner Perkins, BreezyHR, SugarCRM, 6Sense, Lunchclub, and Gem.
People Data Labs is focused on hiring engineering and product professionals as part of an ongoing push into critical verticals. This includes offerings in the fintech space, where they plan to expand their data products to support fraud detection, risk mitigation, and insurance underwriting. The company also plan to expand their offerings in firmographic data via insights and company data products for investment research, sales planning, and investor due diligence.
