What the job involves

CodeMetal.ai is on the hunt for a sharp, hands-on Finance Manager or Controller to help us scale our financial operations
Partner with leadership to upgrade and manage financial systems
Oversee day-to-day accounting and reporting
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Help prepare the company for long-term growth and future fundraising
Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors

Our take

Worldwide spending on edge computing is growing at an astronomical rate. But, as organizations move to migrate their apps to the edge, the disparate nature of their approaches is making deployment difficult.

Code Metal is out to combat this with its modular, AI-powered workflows that support simpler and faster edge development. Its approach has been honed by previous work translating complex research algorithms for platform use, which it is now focussing on hardware apps for the edge.

The company has already made a splash in the space through some high-profile partnerships with the likes of L3Harris, a renowned American defence contractor. It has also raised substantial funding that it will use to expand its team to better serve its growing list of clientele.
