What the job involves
- Dream up fun activities and conversations to keep our Discord buzzing
- Act as the primary moderator for Hyperbolic's online channels, managing day-to-day interactions
- Team up with marketing to improve our setup, create killer incentives, and build hype for upcoming events
- Host laid-back AMAs with our co-founders that people will actually want to attend
- Engage with inbound communications and proactively interact with the community to foster positive engagement
- Plan and execute creative activities to boost participation and community growth
- Build relationships with developers and community managers, helping onboard them onto our platform
- Actively participate in forums like Reddit, Hacker News, and other AI/blockchain spaces to promote our mission
- Leverage analytics and reporting tools to optimize social and community strategies
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate product updates clearly
Our take
As AI models become more complex, they require substantial computer power. This puts a strain on companies and slows down the adoption of AI technologies, as the infrastructure needed to support these models can be costly and resource-intensive.
Hyperbolic is leveraging blockchain technology to create a decentralized cloud network that aggregates GPU computer power. By pooling resources from various contributors, Hyperbolic aims to make AI computing more efficient and affordable.
Its innovative approach hasn't gone unnoticed, with the company recently securing substantial funding. This will enable Hyperbolic to advance its technology and expand its network, working towards its goal of building an open AI ecosystem where contributors and users can benefit from shared computing resources.
