- Channel Sales Expertise: 7+ years of experience in channel sales, partnerships, or business development within high-growth Cybersecurity companies
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing new partner programs and scaling them effectively
- Deep Partner Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong understanding of how VARs, MSSPs, MDRs, and System Integrators operate, their business models, and how to drive mutual success
- Enterprise Sales Experience: Ability to engage with C-level executives within partner organizations and collaborate to drive enterprise sales growth
- Business and Technical Acumen: Capable of clearly articulating Mitiga’s value proposition and aligning solutions with partner and customer needs
- Self-Starter: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, able to think strategically and execute tactically
- Established Network: An existing network of VARs, MSSPs, MDRs and technology partners in cybersecurity is a plus
- Experience with Co-Selling and Joint Marketing: Proven experience in structuring co-selling programs, joint marketing initiatives, and channel incentive structures
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an exceptional Director Of Channel Sales to join our growing global team at Mitiga
- We are seeking a talented National Channel Sales Manager with deep expertise in building strategic partnerships, driving channel sales and accelerating ARR growth
- In this role, you will be tasked with creating and scaling Mitiga’s channel program, building the program from inception, forging relationships with key VARs, MSSPs, MDR’s, and System Integrators to expand our market presence and working closely with our Sales and Marketing team to drive pipeline creation and new ARR growth
- You will work closely with Mitiga’s Sales team, Marketing, and Product Managers to develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies, co-selling initiatives and enablement programs that empower partners to successfully sell Mitiga’s solutions
- Build and Launch Mitiga’s Channel Sales Program: Define and execute a comprehensive strategy, including a partner engagement model and sales playbook, to drive revenue through channel partnerships
- Recruit and Develop Partnerships: Identify, onboard, and cultivate relationships with key VARs, MSSPs, MDRs, and System Integrators to extend Mitiga’s reach in the market
- Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and implement joint go-to-market plans that include co-selling strategies, enablement programs, and marketing initiatives to ensure partners effectively sell Mitiga’s solutions
- Manage Partner Performance and Enablement: Ensure that partners are well-trained, equipped, and incentivized to position and sell Mitiga’s solutions effectively
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align channel strategies with company goals and customer needs
- Negotiate and Manage Agreements: Structure mutually beneficial, long-term partnership agreements
- Continuously Optimize the Program: Track and analyze partner performance, success metrics, and refine strategies to enhance the channel program’s impact
Our take
The business case for digital transformation is undeniable, but the move to the cloud and increased use of SaaS products comes with significant security risks. Mitiga exists to help companies prepare for and respond to data breaches and cyber attacks, providing the expertise and investigative ability that is often lacking in companies that are new to the cloud.
There's no shortage of cloud security companies justling for a piece of the almost $50B market, including the likes of Wiz, Sentra and Dig Security to name just a few. Mitiga's approach differs from others on the market, however: rather than heading off a threat before it can occur, a difficult task which is by no means always successful, it is designed to limit the damage caused by a breach and allow a company to rapidly recover.
Mitiga has recently closed a Series B funding round led by SYN Ventures. This funding will be used to support the company's growth across the US and Europe. This ambitious paired with its large customer base, positions the company well to capture a large share of the growing cloud security market.
