What the job involves
- Join our Marketing team to drive our strategic marketing approach and build brand awareness, consideration, and inspire loyalty among our supporter and youth audiences
- This role sits within the Marketing team and supports the Senior Marketing Manager in delivering audience-centred marketing to increase visibility, inspire action and nurture a growing, engaged and loyal community
- You will lead the day-to-day marketing approach for supporter and youth audiences, developing and optimising end-to-end audience journeys and delivering integrated, insight-led campaigns
- This includes campaign planning, overseeing creative development, conducting audience and competitor research, executing multi-channel activity, and evaluating performance to inform continuous improvement
- Working closely with the wider Marketing team and Communications, you will provide strategic marketing support planning and advice to the Fundraising and Register Development teams to build brand awareness, drive consideration and strengthen long-term engagement
- You will build impactful relationships across the organisation, managing stakeholders effectively and ensuring shared objectives and alignment on priorities
- You will also work closely with external brand, media and creative agencies where needed, supporting the development and delivery of campaigns aligned with organisational aims
- The role is part of the wider Engagement division (which includes Communications and Register Development)
- Hours: 35 per week

Our take
Founded in 1974 to find bone marrow donors for people suffering with blood cancer, Anthony Nolan is today one of Britain's largest recruiters of stem cell donors. As only one in four people with blood cancer will find a compatible donor in their family, Anthony Nolan's work saves over 1,000 lives a year worldwide.
Aside from recruiting donors, Anthony Nolan conducts research through the Anthony Nolan Research Institute, with its findings reducing post-transplant complications and increasing quality of life for patients. It also maintains the UK's first dedicated cord blood bank which allows new mothers to donate their umbilical cords for research.
Despite significant advances in blood cancer treatment since Anthony Nolan's founding, there's still a critical shortage of donors, worsened by a sharp decline since 2019. To combat this, the charity is actively raising awareness of this issue, as well as opening a new stem cell donation centre at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham in 2025.
