• Recently Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong experience preparing management accounts and owning month-end close
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and controls
• Proactive, detail-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently, take ownership and solve complex accounting problems
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills

• As Cleo continues rapid international expansion and our operations grow in complexity, the Finance team is scaling to ensure we maintain exceptional reporting quality, strong governance, and operational excellence
• This role is a critical part of building a finance backbone ready for the next phase of Cleo’s growth
• We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our growing Finance team and take ownership of month-end, multi-entity reporting, and core accounting processes across the UK, Poland and future new geographies
• You’ll be joining at an exciting moment as we scale internationally, add new revenue streams, and strengthen our control environment in preparation for IPO readiness
• This is a hands-on role where you’ll be deeply involved in the financial close process, consolidation, reporting, and operational accounting
• You’ll be the key link between transactional finance, reporting, FP&A and our data teams - helping us build a scalable, automated, and insight-driven finance function
• You’ll free up senior Finance capacity by owning core month-end processes, improving reconciliations, and strengthening controls - helping Cleo’s Finance team operate with the discipline and accuracy expected of a future public company
• Take full ownership of month-end close for UK, Poland and new legal entities as we continue to expand
• Prepare, review, and post journals including accruals, prepayments, reclasses and revenue adjustments
• Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts and entity reporting packs
• Support multi-entity consolidation and reporting under IFRS
• Investigate and explain variances; provide clear, insightful commentary for department leaders
• Complete high-quality balance sheet reconciliations with clear audit trails
• Strengthen our financial controls environment, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
• Improve existing processes and drive month-end efficiency across the team
• Work closely with the Financial Controller, Finance Director and Strategic Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Partner with our AX/Data Analyst to improve data integrity across systems and automate manual processes
• Collaborate with operational teams to build better visibility of spend drivers and margins
• Prepare deliverables for the annual external audit and any internal audit reviews
• Ensure compliance with group policies, IFRS principles, and local GAAP where required
• Help us build repeatable, scalable, SOX-ready processes as the company grows
• Support the rollout of new finance systems, tools, and processes
• Contribute to multi-entity expansion projects, ensuring the finance function scales smoothly
• Lead and assist with initiatives aimed at automating manual workflows and strengthening our control environment
