- What you’ll bring to Circle:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MS in Tax or a CPA preferred
- 7+ years of income tax compliance and financial reporting experience with a combination of large public accounting firm and corporate tax departments
- Experience managing relationships with external advisors and auditors
- Ability to prioritize and communicate workloads to ensure tasks are completed timely
- Organized, detailed, proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, multi-tasker, and creative
- Experience/familiarity with with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with OneSource Tax Provision preferred

What the job involves
- Circle is looking for an experienced and exceptional Tax Manager to join its high growth team
- This role will provide support for a broad range of tax matters, including compliance & reporting, and various special projects
- Preparing aspects of the global tax provision and transfer pricing in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on routine and ad-hoc tax reporting requests
- Responding to notices from various tax authorities
- Assisting with direct and indirect tax compliance
- Drafting technical memoranda on the company’s tax positions
- Being responsible for the relevant SOX controls around compliance and reporting
- Driving improvements to the company's overall tax position and assisting with special projects as needed
