- Basic understanding of data protection and information security concepts
- Previous experience in a Privacy, Compliance or a Complaint handling role would be an advantage
- Experience working with AI or automation technologies, such as workflow automation tools or AI-assisted platforms, to enhance operational efficiency would be highly desirable
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Data Protection Administrator to be the backbone of our privacy operations
- This is an administrative role based in our Cardiff office, perfect for someone with strong organisational skills and an eagerness to learn about data privacy
- You will support both the UK and US functions by processing data rights requests and maintaining core data compliance records
- The Data Protection Administrator supports the data protection team with daily operational tasks, documentation, data subject request processing, and basic compliance duties
- You'll assist with processing data rights for example Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and Data Erasure Requests
- Maintain records of processing activities (RoPA)
- Support privacy inbox triage and logging of incidents
- Maintain documentation, templates, and data compliance trackers
- Update internal privacy registers and monitoring dashboards
- Support the team with data audits and evidence collection
- Triage and escalate Data Complaints
