Role
Who you are
- 15+ years progressive working experience with a combination of FP&A and strategic finance leadership
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within a healthcare focused company
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance related field, Master’s Degree strongly preferred
Desirable
- Background in investment banking and/or management consulting with healthcare-specific experience strongly preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of public company financial reporting, with experience guiding an organization through the transition to public company status preferred
- Demonstrated success in driving financial performance and supporting long-term growth through strategic financial leadership
- Demonstrated ability to develop and champion high performing and collaborative teams; contribute to strong morale by cultivating connections across a distributed, remote team
- Demonstrated leadership ability to think strategically and implement tactically to consistently deliver results; well-developed skills in diplomacy and collaboration
- Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to inform action plans and strategy
- Proven success in working cooperatively and strategically in a fast-paced, team-oriented matrixed environment with the ability to influence and interact with all levels
- Ability to think beyond your immediate team and contribute to making Aledade holistically better (active engagement in DE&I efforts, culture initiatives, facilitating training, leading roundtables, etc.)
What the job involves
- Aledade is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Senior Vice President (SVP) of FP&A and Strategic Finance to join our Finance team in advancing our mission to improve healthcare
- Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the SVP will drive financial performance, develop strategic financial plans, and support both short- and long-term business objectives
- This role will oversee corporate FP&A and Aledade’s team of finance business partners, delivering strategic guidance through a financial lens across the organization
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies, multi-year capital plans, and enterprise initiatives in partnership with executive leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Lead, coach, and direct the FP&A function, including budgeting and forecasting at the business line and corporate levels, as well as oversee reporting / presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors
- Develop and maintain robust, digestible financial models and analysis to influence short- and long-term strategic decision-making for key stakeholders across the organization
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive culture focused on supporting the long-term growth of the company
- Develop and communicate the FP&A team’s strategic direction, including areas of innovation to better support the business
- Advance the team’s strategy around leveraging technology to streamline forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Author and communicate myriad financial information and analyses to internal stakeholders at all levels and tailoring materials for the audience
- In carrying out the above responsibilities, the SVP will:
- Serve as a trusted go-to partner for the Finance leadership team and business leaders across Aledade
- Drive collaboration across all FP&A team responsibilities and shared goals
- Prioritize the development and well-being of your team by fostering connection and trust within a distributed, remote team environment
- Drive projects forward with a passion for organization and process management
- Manage a multitude of cross-functional processes simultaneously
- Solve complex strategic business challenges and issues
- Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail
- Operate with outstanding analytical skills with ability to develop insights and synthesize information
- Leverage excellent verbal and written communication skills with significant experience working with executive leaders
