- Extensive experience with the end-to-end design process, from discovery to execution

What the job involves
- Reimagine the creative toolset based on new capabilities from generative modalities in video, image and audio - and translate this vision into an intuitive and simple web interface
- Collaborate with the engineering and product teams on product requirements, creating user flows, wireframes, and interface prototypes
- Plan, facilitate, and run research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions, focusing on the needs of a new class of digital creators
- Ensure the consistency of our visual and interaction design across the entire product, from initial concept to final implementation, creating a seamless experience for users creating audio, video, and images
- Design a new product category that is fundamentally different, not incrementally better

Pendulum develops its products off the philosophy that to truly learn a language, one must experience the culture, differentiating it from the gamified learning of Duolingo and the traditional focus of education on grammar and sentence memorising.
