Who you are
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Data/Product Analyst (must)
- Having expertise in search analytics and/or user navigation analysis (must)
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Tableau
- Experience in planning data structure for new products and features
- Knowledge of Python (Pandas, Numpy, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, etc.) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of designing and conducting A/B tests
- Strong quantitative skills and a structured approach to problem-solving. Ability to analyze issues, identify root-causes, and recommend solutions
- Passionate about ensuring the quality of the products your team would deliver
- Fluent English (B2+ level)
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Product Analyst to contribute to the evolution of Tabby
- Product Analyst will work in our Search and Catalog team and help us analyse Tabby marketplace search data, user query patterns, and search relevance
- You'll be working with very senior cross-functional team, in a tight collaboration with Analysts, Marketing and Product teams
- Collaborate with our product team to analyze Tabby marketplace search data, user query patterns, and search relevance to improve the effectiveness of our search feature
- Provide the data that will help to enhance the marketplace catalog structure, and optimize user navigation within the marketplace
- Evaluate partner content addition processes, including item feeds and other mechanisms, through data analysis to ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely integration of partner-provided content into the marketplace
- Generate hypotheses, conduct research and A/B tests, and present your findings in a clear and compelling manner that highlights the importance of your insights
- Support and monitor existing metrics related to search and catalog, identify areas for improvement, and develop new metrics that inform decision-making across the organization
- Develop data visualizations and reports that are both informative and easily understood by business and product teams
- Assist in the planning of necessary data structures

Buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) purchases have been rising in popularity for years, with a number of companies springing up to facilitate split-payment shopping. Tabby is one such company, offering Shariah-compliant buy-now-pay-later options through its mobile app, meaning consumers can shop at a range of stores and split their purchase between four interest-free payments.
For stores, using Tabby means offering their customers more flexible payment options, no matter the purchase channel, which can positively affect store loyalty and boost repeat purchases. They also gain access to the hundreds of thousands of shoppers already using the app, as Tabby runs co-marketing campaigns with its retail partners.
Managing upwards of $10 billion in transaction volume annually, and boasting the likes of Shein, Ikea and Adidas amongst its clientele, it is clear that Tabby is doing something right. It has secured a substantial funding round ahead of a planned IPO, and plans to invest in continued expansion of its financial services and shopping products.
