Who you are
- Proven expertise in building and deploying AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), including experience with OpenAI APIs and LangChain
- Entrepreneurial background with experience in startups, ideally as a founder or early team member in a high-growth environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of developing AI solutions from concept through deployment
- Comfortable operating in high-ambiguity situations, taking ownership, and demonstrating resilience through challenges
- Exceptional execution capabilities, consistently delivering on commitments with speed and reliability
What the job involves
- With that in mind, we are looking for a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Head of Applied AI to own and push forward our AI Product Strategy
- This role involves leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and traditional machine learning techniques to create agentic experiences focused on information retrieval and workflow automation
- This is a senior-level position reporting into the CTO and working cross-functionally with the leadership team to align AI initiatives with strategic business objectives
- Architect, build, and deploy scalable AI applications leveraging LLMs (OpenAI, LangChain) and related technologies
- Work closely with product and engineering to integrate AI in every aspect of the platform
- Partner cross-functionally with every department to evangelize how Tabs’ AI strategy drives value for their stakeholders
- Promote the Tabs AI story externally via your network and content publishing

Despite the rise of automation within businesses, a massive amount of finance work is still done manually. Tabs believes that this workload needs to be moved to modern, automated software, so it provides a platform that does just that.
Tabs' AI-powered accounts receivable platform empowers B2B businesses to optimize their AR processes, saving them time, improving cash flow and reducing the rate of billing errors. The platform is able to do this because its AI is capable of reading and understanding commercial contracts, which until now required the eye of an experienced finance professional.
The company already boasts a number of clients such as Pelago, Findigs and Volta. A 2024 influx of funding sets Tabs up for further development and growth, and cements it as one to watch.
