Role
Who you are
- 10+ years in Talent Management, Performance, or Organizational Development roles, including at least 5 years in a global, matrixed organization
- Proven experience designing and executing enterprise-wide performance programs
- Strategic thinker with operational chops—you can zoom out to reimagine systems and zoom in to ensure flawless execution
- Executive presence with the ability to influence, coach, and partner with senior leaders across functions and geographies

What the job involves
- Reports to: Global Head of Talent Enablement and Development
- As Director, Talent & Performance, you will lead the continued evolution of Game Changers, SIE’s global performance management framework
- You'll integrate performance with our broader talent ecosystem—including succession planning, calibration, and career development—ensuring our people processes are tightly aligned to strategic business outcomes, leadership behaviors, and a culture of development
- You’ll bring not just operational horsepower, but strategic vision
- You’ll help us move beyond check-ins and ratings to a holistic, modern talent experience that inspires growth, drives accountability, and fuels business performance
- Lead and continuously evolve Game Changers, SIE’s enterprise-wide performance program, with a focus on clarity, fairness, and impact across 10,000+ global employees
- Design and implement performance frameworks that enable meaningful differentiation, clear goal alignment, and values-driven development feedback
- Oversee the adoption and optimization of BetterWorks for all performance, feedback, calibration, and talent review processes—including workflows, tools, and AI-assisted features
- Integrate performance with talent management processes such as promotions, succession planning, 9-box talent reviews, and internal mobility initiatives
- Collaborate with L&D, Rewards, HRBPs, and business leaders to build scalable performance enablement resources (e.g., manager trainings, toolkits, e-learnings)
- Apply behavioral science and data insights to increase performance transparency, employee engagement, and leadership capability
- Ensure alignment between performance programs and SIE’s values (Passionate, Trailblazer, One) and our leadership behaviors
- Partner with the People Brand and Communications team to reinforce the tone, consistency, and impact of performance messaging
- Monitor and report performance health metrics, calibration patterns, and adoption KPIs to stakeholders including the CHRO and executive team

Its consoles are iconic in the gaming community - PlayStation has produced both the top-selling and fastest-selling console of all time - and the company is still pushing boundaries. Its current flagship - the PS5 - promises to revolutionize gaming, featuring new technology that will create improvements across the board.
As well as its consoles, PlayStation has also developed online services, connecting its users and giving them access to diversified media. A PlayStation can be used for a huge range of activities - from Netflix to guided workouts - which has led to the expansion of the company's audience over time and across generations.
PlayStation faces competition in its field from the likes of Microsoft, with its Xbox range, and PC gaming, which has been becoming more popular in recent years. Regardless, PlayStation shows no signs of slowing down. The upcoming implementation of in-game ads in free games looks to significantly increase revenue, and the wider PlayStation gaming experience also appears to be evolving from plans to launch live service games in upcoming years.
